President Emomali Rahmon has introduced a number of staff changes.
By president’s decree Ms. Gulru Jabborzoda, formerly Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, was appointed Minister of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Population, replacing Ms. Sumangul Taghoizoda, who was nominated by the ruling People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan (PDPT) for the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament).
Mr. Muzaffar Ashouriyon who had previously served as first deputy head of President’s Executive Office, was appointed to head the Ministry of Justice, replacing Mr. Rustam Shohmurod, who was nominated by the PDPT for the Majlisi Namoyandagon.
By president’s decree Mr. Mahmadtoir Zokirov was relieved of his post of Deputy Prime Minister in connection with transfer to other job.
Recall, Zokirov was nominated by the PDPT for the Majlisi Namoyandagon.
By government’s decree Mr. Muhriddin Nizomi was appointed Rector of the Institute of Culture and Art named after Mirzo Tursunzoda, replacing Mr. Khairddin Usmonzoda.
Khairddin Usmonzoda was relieved of his post of Rector of the Institute of Culture and Art named after Mirzo Tursunzoda in connection with transfer to other job.
Mr. Muhammaddovoud Salomiyon was appointed First Deputy Minister of Education and Science, replacing Mr. Rahmatullo Mirboboyev, who was retired for age reasons.
Mr. Abdusalom Miralizoda was appointed to head the Kulob State University named after Abuabdulloh Roudaki, replacing Mr. Abdullo Tabari, who was relieved of his post in connection with transfer to other job.

Mr. Mahmoud Shohiyon was appointed rector of the Rasht Teachers’ Training institute, replacing Mr. Faizali Idizoda, who was relieved of his post in connection with transfer to other job.

Mr. Sharif Hakimzoda was relieved of his post of Adviser at the Office of Presidential Aid for Personnel Issues in connection with transfer to other job.
Ms. Lutfiya Abdukholiqzoda was relieved of her post of head of Education and Science Department at President’s Executive Office in connection with transfer to other job.
