DUSHANBE, September 21, 2011, Asia-Plus -- A working meeting of the border control bodies within border services of the CIS member nations has opened in Dushanbe.
According to Tajikistan’s border service, representatives from border services of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan are participating in the meeting that is dedicated to discuss issues related to border control cooperation and improvement of work of the border-crossing checkpoints.
On September 22, the meeting participants will visit the border-crossing checkpoint Nizhny Panj on the Tajik-Afghan border in Khatlon province in order to get acquainted with efficient work of the border infrastructure, the source said.
