Counter-terrorism maneuvers, in which Tajik law enforcement structures took part, were held in Fahrabad training ground last week.
The goal of the maneuvers was to improve professional skills of Tajik forces in emergency situations – liquidation of terrorist groups and hostage rescue, destroy drug traffickers and organized criminal groups, Tajik Ministry of Interior told AP.
Police officers from the Dushanbe police unit, National Guards, Emergency and Civil Defense Committee, special troops of the Tajik Security Committee took part in the maneuvers.
Tajik Interior Minister, Lieutenant General Ramazon Rahimov, heads of a series of related ministries, representatives of international organizations and reporters observed the maneuvers.
