DUSHANBE, September 11, 2012, Asia-Plus -- An Afghan national has been arrested in Dushanbe on suspicion of having been involved in drug trafficking.
The Interior Ministry’s press service reports an operation carried out by Tajik police officers in Dushanbe on September 8 led to the arrest of a 30-year-old citizen Afghanistan, Khalid waladi Gul Murad. 70 kilograms of hashish were reportedly confiscated from him.
Dushanbe resident Umedjon Qayumov, 35, has been arrested on suspicion of the involvement in that crime. The source refrained from giving further details of the crime.
