David Niyozbekov, Officer of Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs who got gunshot wounds during yesterday clashes in the administrative center of GBAO; he died this morning, not regaining consciousness, in a local hospital. It was reported to Asia-Plus by the source in law enforcement agencies of the country.

As doctors of the hospital reported to Asia-Plus, bullet wounds received by Officer of Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs, were incompatible with life. "Doctors tried to save a young man life, but there were not any chances,” said the source.

He added that at the moment there are seven people with various gunshot wounds in the regional hospital. It was reported earlier about the death of two people in the Khorugh incident that occurred between a group of local residents and law enforcement agencies.

In general, according to the source from law enforcement agencies, yesterday night in Khorugh was quiet. "Buildings of public authorities are under protection of security forces, the streets are patrolled by special intensive law enforcement officers,” said the source.
