DUSHANBE, January 21, 2016, Asia-Plus – Two residents of the Hamadoni district (Khatlon province) have been detained on suspicion of drug peddling.
The Interior Ministry’s website reports that two residents of the Hamadoni district were detained on January 20 on suspicion of drug trafficking.
Several packages of narcotic that tested positive to hashish weighing 14.854 kilograms were confiscated from them.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the alleged drug traffickers and an investigation is under way.
