DUSHANBE, December 7, 2011, Asia-Plus - In accordance with the State program to promote employment for 2012-2013, which was adopted by the Government of Tajikistan in late November, during the next two years, there has to be created about 250 thousand new work places, and more than 27 thousand unemployed people involved in to learn crafts.
In an interview with "AP", Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Tajikistan Mahmadamin Mahmadaminov noted that the program also provides for allocation of 5.8 million somoni for the issue of small soft loans to unemployed citizens to organize own small business. "In general, for the effective implementation of this program 25.2 million somoni will be allocated from the budget of the country," - said the Minister.
He also noted that the program will cover all regions of the country, taking into account the level of employment, conditions for small business.
"Today, along with three strategic objectives of the Government of Tajikistan - to ensure energy independence, food security and remove the country from communication deadlock, which are directly or indirectly will also provide job placement within Tajikistan, one of the main priorities of the state is creating new work places" – said Mahmadaminov.
The Minister also expressed confidence that the goals and tasks set by the state program of employment assistance for 2012-2013 to the ministries, public authorities, will be fulfilled within the schedule.
