DUSHANBE, December 8, 2011 Asia-Plus -- During his recent visit to St. Petersburg, Tajikistan’s Migration Service head Safiallo Devonayev met with a group of Tajik labor migrants at the St. Petersburg Single Migration Center, the Migration Service’s office in the Russian Federation reports.
During the meeting, Tajik migrant workers reportedly noted the convenience of such a form of work, when competent consultations on all migration issues and a full package of documents for legalization of stay and employment are available in one place.
The Single Migration Center is provided with computers and information stands center and trained consultants working with the Center make available accurate information related to labor migrations in St. Petersburg and Leningrad oblast and answer the queries of the visitors of the Center, the source said.
According to him, the Single Migration Center, Ms. Yekaterina Korolyova, noted that the Center also offers translation of documents, medical services, insurance, notarization of copies of documents and work permits, as well as services on sale of air and rail tickets.
The experience of the St. Petersburg Single Migration Service will be used for establishment of a similar center in Tajikistan, the source added.
