KULOB, July 4, 2012, Asia-Plus -- In the framework of the republic electronic government program, the Kulob mayor’s office have finished organizational measures on connecting the main departments of the mayor’s office to Internet.
Suhrobsho Farrukhshoyev, a spokesman for the Kulob mayor’s office, says the first phase includes connection of ten offices to Internet. According to him, the departments will be connected to Internet through Tajik Telecom.
The Kulob mayor’s office has recently launched its official website – www.kulob.tj.
Electronic government, also known as e-gov, digital government, online government, or connected government, is digital interactions between a government and citizens (G2C), government and businesses/Commerce (G2B), government and employees (G2E), and also between government and governments /agencies (G2G).
