KULOB, August 8, 2012 Asia-Plus -- President Emomali Rahmon is expected to pay a week-log visit to Kulob from August 10 to August 17, an official source at the Kulob mayor’s office told Asia-Plus in an interview.
A number of new or renovated facilities will be introduced into operation in Kulob on the occasion of president’s visit, the source said. According to him, the head of state is expected to inaugurate a new two-story hospital of the Kulob police directorate, new sewing workshop at JSC “Poyafzoli Kulob” (Kulob Shoes), a new kindergarten and a flour mill.
During his stay in Kulob, President Rahmon will also visit the site for construction of the Sports Palace, which will have a seating capacity of 1,500.
