Dushanbe. 20 August. “Asia Plus” -- Veterans of the World War II from the Sogd region of Tajikistan, participated in the battles against the Japanese militarists, received a sum of money as a gift.
As reported the administration of the Sogd region on the official website on August 19, 13 participants of the World War II from the cities and districts of the region, who have shown the courage in the battle against Japan, were presented with 2 thousand somoni.
Means were awarded on behalf of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
