Asia-Plus Media Holding is launching a new information campaign, Zireh (translated from Tajik as "shield, protection"), dedicated to media literacy and digital safety of teenagers.
Today, teenagers are one of the most vulnerable and least heard groups in society. They face online risks on a daily basis: bullying, fraud, fakes, pressure and lack of trust from adults. The "Zireh" campaign aims to become a digital shield for teenagers – to give them a voice and tools to protect themselves.
As part of the campaign:
- In-depth interviews with teenagers and their parents will be conducted to identify real fears and requests;
- the heading "It was with me. Diary of a Teenager" – a series of short videos with personal stories and expert comments;
- a Telegram chatbot will be launched, where teenagers can anonymously receive advice and support in difficult situations;
- Mobile Media Literacy labs will be held in Dushanbe, Khujand and Bokhtar, where students will be able to discuss real digital challenges in the format of games, case studies and discussions.
The campaign will reach out to teenagers themselves, as well as their parents, teachers, and psychologists, because trust and mutual understanding in the digital world are impossible without dialogue between generations.
Asia-Plus is open to cooperation with schools, development centers and youth organizations that are familiar with the topic of digital security. We will be especially glad to those who want to become a part of the video section "It was with me. Diary of a teenager" and share your story. To contact us, please call the short number 4141.
