The Kremlin meeting of Presidents Dmitry Medvedev and Barack Obama lasted for about one hour on the second day of Obama’s Moscow visit, Medvedev’s press secretary Natalia Timakova told the media.

She said the presidents continued to discuss the fulfillment of agreements reached at the Monday negotiations.

Economic cooperation, primarily bilateral contacts in the energy sector, were an important item on the agenda, Timakova said.

The presidents confirmed their wish to intensify the activity of newly formed groups of the presidential commission.

The Tuesday meeting was informal. Medvedev gave Obama a tour of his residence, the Grand Kremlin Palace and Kremlin cathedrals.
