DUSHANBE, April 5, Asia-Plus -- On Wednesday April 5, the Dushanbe districts of Sino, Shohmansur and Firdavsi summed up the results of the first round of the “2005 Best Dushanbe Entrepreneur” contest.   

In the Sino district, for example, 1200 applications have been distributed among enterprises and entrepreneurs working in the district and 32 entrepreneurs have been competitively selected.   A number of enterprises and private companies will represent the Sino district in several nominations in the final stage of the contest set for April 15.  The contest will be conducted in the following nominations: production of consumer’s goods; construction and refurbishment; production of goods of light industry; architecture and design; craftsmanship; public catering; commerce; consumer service and development of enterprise.     

Ms. Sayora Qodirova, deputy head of the Dushanbe enterprise development support center, has told Asia-Plus that the contest is conducted on sidelines of celebrations to mark the Capital City Day, which mark on April 15.

The final stage of the contest will be held in the building of the Youth Committee under the Government of Tajikistan.
