International exhibition “Mini Agricultural Machines - 2006” opens in Tajik capital today

, February 20, Asia-Plus - International four-day exhibition “Mini Agricultural Machines - 2006” opened in the building of
Tajik
Agricultural
University
in
Dushanbe
on Monday [February 20].
The exhibition was staged by the Ministry of Agriculture and Independent Agency for Strategic Studies and Planning under support of World Bank and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Country Office in

,
India
,
Iran
,
Japan
,
Russia
,
Turkey
,
Uzbekistan
, and other countries are participating in this exhibition. Companies from these countries have put on display their achievements in the production of mini agricultural machines, processing of farm produce, and advanced technologies in relevant industries.
On February 21, a scientific-practical conference formally titled “Mini Agricultural Machines – Foundation of Progress of Dehqan (Peasant) Farms” will be held on sidelines of the exhibition.
The exhibition runs through February 23.
