KULOB, April 14, Asia-Plus - Prices of some basic food products in Kulob have risen by 50 percent and even more over the past week.  

Thus, prices of potatoes have risen from 1.4 Somonis-1.5 Somonis to 2 Somonis-2.2 Somonis, prices of onions have risen from 0.7 Somoni to 1.5 Somonis, apples – from 3 Somonis to 4.5 Somonis-5 Somonis, rice – from 2.3 Somonis to 3 Somonis, sugar – from 2.4 Somonis to 2.6 Somonis.  

Prices of all food products, including greengroceries, have risen on average by 10%-15%.
