Health ministers from Asian countries gather in Kabul for meeting

, April 17, Asia-Plus - A two-day international conference formally titled “Infectious Diseases Do Not Recognize Borders” opened in the Afghan capital of
Kabul
today.
Health ministers from Asian countries have gathered in
Kabul
to attend the conference, which is aiming to consider issues related to prevent spread of infections diseases.
According to information from the Tajik Ministry of Health, the conference participants include health ministers from
Central Asia
’s states,
Turkey
,
China
,
Pakistan
,
Mongolia
and other countries.
A Tajik delegation attending the conference s led by Health Minister Nusratullo Fayzulloyev.
Participants at the conference are discussing cooperation in preventing spread of such infections diseases as HIV/AIDS, malaria, cholera and bird flu.
