DUSHANBE, February 15, 2013, Asia-Plus  -- A Russian delegation led by Vyacheslav Davledyanov, head of RusAl (Russian Aluminum)’s office in Tajikistan, yesterday met here with a group of Tajik entrepreneurs, the press center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Tajikistan said.

The delegation members reportedly included senior representatives from Russia’s GAZ Group.

Representatives from Afghanistan’s trade office in Tajikistan also attended the meeting.

The sides considered a broad range of issues related to establishing new contacts, seeking partners for cooperation and studying opportunities of assembling Russian vehicles in Tajikistan.   

GAZ (Gorky Automobile Plant) started in 1932 as NAZ, cooperation between Ford and the Soviet Union.
