IRNA says discussions around oil cooperation were held between senior Iranian and Tajik officials in Tehran on December 7.
Iranian Minister of Petroleum Javad Owji and Tajik Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma reportedly discussed exports of oil and gas condensates, oil products and petrochemical products.
They also exchanged views on Iranian excavation and exploration operations in Tajikistan, exports of technical and engineering services, as well as reconstruction and renovation of Tajikistan’s oil refineries, according to IRNA.
Tajik Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma is in Tehran to participate in the 15th round of Tajikistan-Iran Joint Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation.
Co-chaired by Daler Juma on the Tajikistan’s side and Iranian Minister of Energy Ali-Akbar Mehrabian on the Iranian side, the commission reportedly discussed cooperation between the two countries in sectors like trade, hydropower and culture.
The previous, 14th session of the Tajikistan-Iran Joint Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation was held six months ago in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe.
