The International Tourism Exhibition DITE-2025 opened at the Dushanbe Expo Center on September 18, bringing together around 200 companies from 20 countries.
Participants include tour operators, hotels, airlines, wellness centers, cultural institutions, and souvenir producers from Tajikistan and other Central Asia’s nations, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russia, Turkiye, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, the United States, Iran, Pakistan, Bahrain, Yemen, Syria and Morocco.

The three-day event, organized by Somon Travel with support from the Dushanbe Mayor’s Office and the Committee for Tourism Development, follows the International Tourism Investment Forum held a day earlier.

The opening ceremony featured speeches by representatives of the Dushanbe Mayor’s Office, the Committee for Tourism Development, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan, as well as Ms. Simonida Kordić, President of the Commission for Europe within the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), among others.

Organizers emphasized that DITE-2025 provides local companies with an opportunity to strengthen their market positions, attract foreign visitors, and boost competitiveness — ultimately fostering inbound tourism and enhancing Tajikistan’s global image.
The first edition of DITE took place in 2024, attracting over 100 local and international companies. This year’s expanded program includes product presentations, networking, and experience-sharing between domestic and foreign businesses.
