Tajik injured in market roof collapse dies in hospital

DUSHANBE
, February 28, Asia-Plus - The 22-year-old Ghulomjon Mahmadaliyev has died in hospital rising number of Tajiks killed in the Basmanny market roof collapse to seven people.
According to information from press service of the Tajik Embassy in Moscow Ghulomjon Mahmadaliyev was among those eleven Tajiks who were injured when the snow-laden roof of the Basmanny market collapsed. He was taken to Hospital No 32 in
Moscow
and he was in hard condition.
In the meantime, five other Tajiks that were injured in the market roof collapse are still in the
Moscow
hospitals.
As it had been reported earlier, the tragedy occurred on February 23, at
05:50 a.m.

time. The Basmanny market building near the Baumanskaya metro station fully collapsed. Aside from the roof its reinforced concrete structures also collapsed and the total area of the cave-in is 3,000 square meters. According to Russian media, 66 people were killed and some 30 others were injured in the market roof collapse.
