DUSHANBE, September 3, 2008, Asia-Plus -- Dead body of Warrant Officer Farhod Muminov, an officer with the Tursunzoda police department, with signs of violent death was found near his house in Tursunzoda yesterday morning, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
The source at a MoI said that preliminary investigation has established that local resident, 23-year-old Behrouz Khainazarov, killed the police officer, following quarrel.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted to investigate into the crime and the law enforcement agencies are currently searching for Khainazarov.
