DUSHANBE, September 10, 2008, Asia-Plus -- One teenager was killed and another one was seriously injured Tuesday night as a car hit them in Qurghon Teppa, Khatlon province.
According to the Tajik traffic police directorate, the accident took place in the city of Qurghon Teppa, the capital of the Khatlon province Tuesday night. “A car KIA Carnival driven by Tojiddin Nosirov hit two teenagers riding their bikes,” said the source. “A 13-yearold Farhodjon Tesaheyv died at the scene of accident and a 12-year-old Azamjon Abdulloyev suffered numerous injuries.”
The cause of the accident is exceeding the speed limit and criminal proceedings have been instituted against Nosirov.
