QURGHON TEPPA/DUSHANBE, May 4, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Torrential rain on May 3 caused mudslides that blocked or damaged some sections of the highway from Dushanbe to Qurghon Teppa, the capital of the Khatlon province.
Mudslides damaged some 20 meters of the highway in the Obi Kiik jamoat of the Khuroson district and traffic along the Dushanbe-Qurghon Teppa road was suspended yesterday for some three hours.

The mudslide effects have been removed already by yesterday’s evening, the source at a MoTC said.
