DUSHANBE, May 14, 2011, Asia-Plus -- A mild tremor measuring 2.0-3.0 on a 12-point scale jolted Dushanbe in the early hours of Saturday morning, at 2:29 am, according to the Dushanbe seismological station.
Centered in Afghan territory, some 290 kilometers southeast of Dushanbe, the tremor could be felt in some other regions of Tajikistan as well.
In the epicenter, the earthquake’s magnitude was 4.0 on the Richter scale, the source said, adding that no damage or injured was reported.
