Sunday’s mudslides have seriously damaged the Interior Ministry-run children’s summer camp located in Varzob district.  The Interior Ministry has applied for help to international organizations.  


Torrential rain on April 21 caused a serious of mudslides that have significantly damaged the Interior Ministry-run children’s summer champ located in the Siyoma area, Varzob district, according to the Interior Ministry’s website.  

The mudslides reportedly destroyed three buildings and all paved alleys in the camp.


The Interior Ministry has applied to international organizations active in the country for assistance in restoring the camp, the Interior Ministry’s website says.
