KHUJAND, June 3, 2014, Asia-Plus -- Ex-head of the Tojik Sodirot Bonk (TSB)’s office in the Kuhistoni Mastchoh district of Sughd province faces corruption charge.
According to the Interior Ministry’s office in Sughd, the ex-head of TSB’s office in Kuhistoni Mastchoh, R.A., using forged documents, took 200,000 somoni from three local residents and applied the sum of money to his own use.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against R.A. under the provisions of Article 247 (3) of Tajikistan’s Penal Code – large-scale fraud; an investigation is under way.
