DUSHANBE, June 3, 2014, Asia-Plus – The 22-year-old resident of the northern city of Istaravshan, Abdughaffor Mirbaqozoda, who is a self-employed taxi-driver, has applied to the local police station and said that two unidentified persons attacked him in broad daylight on May 31 and seized a bag with 100,000 U.S. dollars.
Two young men have been detained on suspicion of having been involved in that crime; one of them has a previous conviction.
Material evidence has been confiscated from them and an investigation is under way.
