DUSHANBE, April 17, Asia-Plus -- On Saturday April 15, a Day of Capital City was marked in Dushanbe.
The results of the “2005 Best Dushanbe Entrepreneur” were summed up at the “Kokhi Jomi” Complex in Dushanbe on sidelines of the holiday.
The contest will be conducted in the following nominations: production of consumer’s goods; construction and refurbishment; production of goods of light industry; architecture and design; craftsmanship; public catering; commerce; consumer service and development of enterprise, etc.
The Dushanbe dairy-factory that was recognized the best in the “Production of Consumer’s Goods” nomination was announced the winner of the “2005 best Dushanbe Entrepreneur” contest. Dushanbe Mayor, Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, telling the meeting also announced winners in other eighteen nominations. Thus, the enterprise “Imperiya” (Empire) took first place in the “Production of Goods of Light Industry” nomination; the “Status” limited liability company was first in the “Publishing, Design and Advertisement” nomination. The Dushanbe company “TK Mobile” won the “Telecommunications Technologies” nomination, and the Dushanbe weekly “Asia-Plus” was recognized the best in the “Information Technologies” nomination.
Besides, the weekly “Payomi Dushanbe”, the radio station “Asia-Plus” and the TV station “Poytakht” were awarded for the best coverage of the capital city’s life.
Exhibitions and fairs as well concerts were held in all four districts of the Tajik capital on Saturday.
