DUSHANBE, July 6, Asia-Plus -- Tajikistan’s Government has passed a resolution obligating the Ministries of Finance, Healthcare and Culture jointly with the National Agency for Space, Geodesy and Cartography “Tojikkoinot” to seek solution to the issue of renaming three mounts in Gorno Badakhshan, presidential press service reported.  

We will recall that by president’s proposal the Mount of Lenin (7,134 meters above sea level) was renamed the Mount of Tajikistan’s Independence and the Mount of Revolution (6,940 meters) was renamed the Mount of Abuali ibn Sino and no-name mount (6,910 meters) in the Rushan district of Porno Badakhshan was named after Abuabdullo Rudaki.
