DUSHANBE , July 18, Asia-Plus - President Emomali Rahmonov resided over a meeting with participation of chairmen of Gorno Badakhshan (Alimamad Niyozmamadov), Khatlon (Amirsho Miraliyev) and Sughd (Qosim Qosimov), and Dushanbe (Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev on July 17.   

According to information from presidential press service, heads of the regions reported on economic results of their regions in the first half-year of 2006, preparations for the upcoming important events in the country, including the 15 th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence and the 2700 th anniversary of Kulob and others.
