DUSHANBE, July 13, 2011, Asia-Plus – Life-fire missions for tank and motor rifle battalions of the Russian military base in Tajikistan began at the Lohour and Mumirak training grounds on July 12, Dmitry Matushkin, an assistant to the commander of the Russian military base in Tajikistan, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
According to him, life-fire missions for artillerymen of the military base will start on July 16.
The Lohour and Mumirak training grounds are two of seven training grounds that will be used for holding the Center-2011 strategic military exercise that is scheduled for September this year.
