Tajikistan and Russian have signed a 250 million rubles’ worth agreement on jointly combating drug trafficking.
An online agreement on cooperation in countering illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substance and their precursors was signed on November 2 by Habibullo Vohidov, the Director of the Drug Control Agency (DCA) under the President of Tajikistan, and Vladimir Kolokoltsev, the Interior Minister of the Russian Federation, the DCA press center says.
The agreement was reportedly signed for the period of 2023-2025.
Under this document, Russia will provide assistance to Tajikistan’s counter-narcotics agency in combating drug trafficking. A total amount of the agreement is more than 250 million Russian rubles.
