KHUJAND, August 16, 2011, Asia-Plus - In Khujand reporters of the Ukrainian National TV channel started to produce a new documentary film about Tajikistan.
The group of Ukrainian reporters, which arrived on August 14th, is headed by the editor of the aforementioned TV channel Nadya Bazi, the Khujand administration told the AP.
Yesterday the visiting reporters attended the Palace of Press and met with the chairman of Sughd District Kokhir Rasulzoda and representatives of the local media. They also visited a series of historic places: Shaikh Maslihitdin Mosque, Panjshanbe bazaar, National park and studied the activity of Javoni joint company.
The journalists have also visited Bakhoriston health center in Kairakkum and made a series of night scenes in Khujand.
The group continues to shoot scenes at the Urunkhojaev Palace and are planning to travel to Istaravshan, Penjikent and Dushanbe.
The First National TV Channel of Ukraine positions itself as the only TV channel in the country which covers 98% of the country’s territory. That’s why it produces TV programs for all social groups of the population, including national minorities.
The channel mainly focuses on informational, journalistic, scientific and popular, culturological, entertaining and sport programs which are broadcasted in Ukrainian language.
