KULOB, September 19, 2011, Asia-Plus -- The price of one liter of 95-octane gasoline in Kulob has risen from 6.70 to 7.10 somoni and the price of one liter of 92-octane gasoline has risen in the city from 6.50 to 6.80 somoni.
Expenses of traveling to Dushanbe have reportedly risen to 25.00-40.00 somoni, depending on the type fuel – liquefied natural gas or gasoline.
Besides, hike in gasoline prices has led to a 10-15 percent increase in the prices of basic food products in the area.
